Debunkdom now pulling on the heartstrings of human pride. This recent trend I’ve seen goes something like this, “If you think ancient aliens intervened to help humans, you’re not giving our amazing ancestors enough credit.”

Let’s have an Ancient Ancestors Pride Parade, while we forget three key facts.

1. Our 2014 technology would still struggle lift the 10-400 ton stones found in many monoliths around the world, much less lift them precisely into place atop a 500 foot stone mountain.
2. We are supposed to give them credit for using stone tools to precisely cut these massive stones. Well, if they really did that, they deserve the kudos.
3. The pesky fact that cultures all over the world say in their writings that “the gods” or “beings from the sky” gave them culture, technology, and know-how.

Apparently, our ancestors were smart enough cut and levitate massive stones, according to debunkers, but not to provide eyewitness accuracy of where they got the information.

Now, I am willing to go down this road that aliens didn’t help and that was all mythology, if you are willing to admit that our admirable ancestors possessed technology and know-how still a mystery to and beyond our capabilities today.

Logic indicates that one of two things is true. Either our ancestors got the help from where they say they got the help or we must acknowledge the existence of highly-technologically advanced human civilizations in the distant past.

I’m cool with either. I’m guessing a lot of debunkers are not.
