We are about the place a big exclamation point on 2015 and move on to the new year. What kind of year will 2016 be? That’s far easier to predict than you might suspect.

Like every other year in human history, 2016 will be the year we make it. That’s not empty hyperbole. That’s the fact. If we want war, famine, chaos, and terrorism, that’s what we’ll have. If we want peace, abundance, and a better world to pass on to our children, then, that’s what we’ll have too.

Will it be simple? Hell no! There are plenty of forces out there that don’t want the positive energy and full human potential to rise and shine on this planet.

Some of those people have high positions in government, industry, and religion. Their power, wealth, and control flows from the chaos and a disempowered humanity. They will be at it again in 2016.

What will be our answer? Will we continue to be led around in a constant state of fear and mistrust of each other? Will we move from crisis to crisis and not see the pattern that they are all designed to keep us fearful, divided, and conquered? Will we continue to imagine that our “enemies” are not subject to the same forces working on their psyches as well?

You see if there is an organized attempt to maintain the chaos and the fear, as I suspect there is, then they must keep all sides rattled. They must continue whispering fearful things in the ears of all the peoples of the planet to keep us at each other’s throats.

I believe the best days for humanity are yet to come. I believe 2016 can be a HUGE year in the right direction, moving us forward toward the civilization we have within us. Or, it can be a continued step back into a dark age of fear and tyranny, forever altering the prospects of our children and grandchildren.

Watch and respond to events with your wisdom, not your amygdala.
