Ancient Aliens. You love the show. You love the concept and the idea that we may have been visited and helped by extraterrestrials in the past. But, what now? It’s awesome that we have a cultural phenomenon that is taking the basics of this message to the masses. Bless Erich and Giorgio for what they have done and are doing.
The next step is in our court. Because it’s not enough to binge watch the show and know everything there is to know on this topic. There are implications, profound implications, to this realization for us as individuals and for our civilization. We need to internalize it and figure out, if all that’s true, now what?
We don’t need to make a religion of the Anunnaki or the other aliens involved in our past. They did a fine job of that themselves and we are still living with those repercussions in our daily headlines.
No, I’m talking about really investigating what this means related to who we are, why we’re here, and where we’re going. Ancient Aliens is a doorway of self-discovery. If we really are Earth creatures hybridized with extraterrestrials, how does that change our objectives and trajectory versus our traditional version of who we thought we were? If we’re netted in some kind of a karmic, reincarnational cycle brought on by these beings, how do we escape it and transcend it? Can we? If the gods small g that became the God big G are really still active in steering our species in the wrong direction, how can we challenge that system?
Is there advanced benevolent help out there willing to throw us a life line if we can muster the basest aspects of a peaceful global civilization? What does the recognition that the gods or our religions are advanced extraterrestrials do to our belief in an ultimate force behind this universe?
As I work on Book 2 of my novel series, these are topics I’m trying to address and discuss. They’re daunting and call everything into question.
My bottom line for today and my challenge to you is this. We cannot afford to just allow Ancient Aliens to be a pop culture thrill ride. We need to start asking the sobering questions about what all of this really means for us. Until we do that, nothing will change.
Stay strong and keep seeking!
